How are we going to get you there?

 

 Private Pilot Training Requirement


  • Registration:- $ 200
  • Ground School kit $390
  • Aircraft Rental Insurance- Required before solo flight. ($150)
  • Student Pilot License : Will be applied for after Registration.
  • Be able to pass the FAA knowledge test with a min. 85%
  • Preparation for Oral/Practical test.- Done with Instructor.
  • Check ride.

* Student needs to be studying as much as possible for the Practical/Oral  and knowledge 


The average private pilots license can be obtained in approximately 3 to 4 months and cost between $10,000 and $12,000 based on the individual students ability to study and their aptitude in the aircraft. The length of the program can be shortened when the student is available to fly more than 2 to 3 times a week.

We are very proud of our partnership with King and we look forward to showing you all the wonderful things it can do for you.

FAA minimum flight requirements for Private Pilot License. These are Bare minimum flight times.

 

​Receive and log a minimum of 40 hours of flight time that include:  

  • 20 hours of flight training from an FAA authorized instructor  
  • 3 hours of cross-country flight training
  • 3 hours of instrument training
  • 3 hours of Practical Test preparation
  • 3 hours of night flight training
  • 10 takeoffs and landings to a full stop
  • 1 cross-country flight of over 100 NM total distance

(SOLO TRAINING)

  • 10 hours of solo flight training 
  • 5 hours of solo cross-country time
  • 1 solo cross country of at least 150 NM with full stop landings at a minimum of 3 points
  • 3 takeoffs and landings to a full stop at a towered airport.
